Lets face it, the best man usually leaves without doing anything but be there for a good friend, but being a man means more than better that planning for the bachelor party. The best man has suggested responsibilities as any other important person in the wedding party, and if by chance he has committed to be the "best" the best man I can be for your friend, then here are some great ideas on how you can not only be useful, but also take their work seriously.
1.) Planning and organizing the bachelor party. This is often the primary responsibility for the best man, and just happens to be the responsibility that everyone is familiar.
2.) Assists the groom choose and purchase a gift for the bride to give her on her wedding day.
3.) Ensure that the groom is a band at the wedding of the bride and the marriage license with him on the wedding day. It is your responsibility to keep the band for the wedding of the bride during the ceremony.
4.) Perform any tasks or steps that the groom or bride's mother can have for you on the big day, even if they seem minuscule, it is important to conduct prompt and best of your ability.
5.) Help the groom dress for the big day (attending with his tie, cufflinks, etc.) Remember: He'll be nervous, so you will need your help with a lot of things.
6.) If a ring bearer at the wedding, is the responsibility of the person best suited to ensure that the child knows his responsibilities and where to stand on the big day. Remember that young children have stage fear, so do what you can to put the child at ease and assure you that you will waiting down the hall.
