Bride and Groom speaks … Help, please?

We're getting married on Saturday. Our rehearsal dinner is Friday and I can not for the life of me an idea of what ie as a speech at the rehearsal dinner. Any advice or suggestions are truly appreciated! Thanks! :) Child "The stupidity of your response made me laugh. I was asking about the speech as in the What I say to the wedding party and my parents and their parents … I've written my vows, and I know what I'm saying. Just because I'm trying to write a speech does not mean you should not marry. You are a tool. I should add, my parents have paid for the whole thing and I want to express my gratitude to them without telling "Thank you for pay." And I want to thank my wedding party for their help and support. The question is more of this than what I say to my boyfriend.

Say what difference his life has been since the boyfriend came into it, throw in a clever "I love because I never thought I'd see the day where I could sit through a ball game and really enjoy everything "Mention of a beautiful story that will have the blush on her boyfriend and parents should say something like" my Parents are very special people, I love them so much and want to thank them for all they have done for me, thanks guys "

Bride Wedding Speech Ideas – my 8 Tips

1) Bride Wedding Speeches??
I am looking for wedding speech ideas for my speech… I get married in 11 days and I am freaking out about my speech- I hate public speaking, and I am LOST as to how to write my speech. We have 2 kids together (Chris & Shanna) and I am really wanting to put their names in the speech to honour them… help help!!

2) I Need Wedding Speech Theme Ideas For My Best Friend’s Wedding.?
It’s for 2 people – my other best friend Sue and I are giving the speech together. The Maid of Honour is doing a sentimental speech to the bride, so we just want to do a funny speech, but we need a theme, template, etc. for a funny idea for 2 people.
I know already about different things I can talk about. But are there any cool speeches you’ve seen with 2 bridesmaids, like a song or a theme or a skit-type thing?

When I was the maid of honour for my sisters wedding, I wanted a fun speech, Everyone was laughing, So I found this rhyme/poem that was hilarious, I change some of the wording to refelct our past. 3) Any Ideas For A Speech At A Wedding Where The Son Is Giving Away His Mother As A Bride?
My boyfriend is giving away his mother at her wedding and he is scared about the speech! Any good ideas or short openers for the speech would be great.

well start by saying how happy you are that your mom is happy-then tell the story of the first time you met her new husband (make jokes about how you felt ) – and then finish by saying I love you mom and I really wish you guys the best

4) Wedding Speeches From The Bride And Groom?
Me and my husband-to-be, are both not confident about speaking in front of a large amount of people. We are thinking about doing a joint speech, how would you feel if you were at a wedding at the bride and groom both stood up and picthed a speech?

Also, any ideas where you can read old speeches for a bit of a template.

its gr8 i mean if you both give a joint speech it will show ur love and how comfortable u people r together…………..and the firstb thing u do after marraige together then it shows that u people always do everything together and agree to similar ideas….less quarreling……

5) I Am Trying To Do A Bride Speech And Need An Attention Getter! My Speech Is Tomarrow So Please Help Asap!?
I am doing my speech that I wrote for my wedding for my speech class tomarrow. The only thing is that our teacher for speech wants an attention getter and i dont really have one. Any Ideas!!! Please help!

My teacher says to use the word “imagine” for an attention-getter. So, “Who could ever have imagined what a wonderful day this would be?” or something similar should work.

6) Wedding Speech For A Bride!?
ok I was married previously and after 5 yrs I left and got divorced.

I was shocked at the amount of prejudice there still is in this day and age about divorce and had quite a hard time with some friends and family voicing opinions…plus had quite a hard time from ex husband who just wouldnt let go and things turned nasty and lawyers wer involved.

Anyway I haved moved on now engaged to great guy and have a 2 yr old boy who i adore and i am getting married again…a small and intimate affair.

I want to say something kinda saying about my past and even tho i was divorced once marriage i still take marriage seriously but just dont know how to put it into words any ideas?

That’s a tough one! I wouldn’t bring it up. Maybe you could 2say something like “I’m looking forward to creating a happy family with my son and wonderful new husband. Here’s to many joyous years together.” i think that very subtly says that this is something you are taking seriously. I think you’re right. There is too much prejudice against 2nd marriages. It’s always a happy occasion when two people find love – no matter what happened in the past.

7) My Dad Is Not Going To Be At Our Wedding Reception – Who Should I Ask To Do The “father Of The Bride Speech”??
My dad is going to be at the ceremony and walk me down the isle, but he has a thing about crowds and does not want to go to the reception. Any ideas on who should be next in line? Or should we miss this speech all together??

Is there another special person in your life that could take this place???

My real father didn’t walk me down the asile, and was not at my wedding, the hero in my life is my step dad. I would not have had my real dad do this for me even if he wanted too.

Think of someone who is special to you, and ask them.

8) Need Help With Wedding Speech?
My father passed away but my Uncle is walking me down the aisle. He is also going to be doing the ‘Father of the Bride’ speech. He is not very confident with public speaking but has agreed to say a few lines … can anyone please give me some ideas to help him with his speech, like what to include etc… all the website I have looked at only give advice for the father but not for someone who is standing in. Any tips and suggestions appreciated.

I’m assuming that because he’s walking you down the aisle, that you two are close. I would suggest that he mention a pleasant memory he has of you from your childhood, say something about his feelings for you, maybe what’s he proud of, mention your new husband (what a nice couple you are) and then give good wishes for you and your new husband.
