In the discourse of the bridesmaid …?

In my maid of honor speech am I suppose to talk to the audience or the bride and groom? I watched the speeches of both ways. What is more traditional or appropriate?

I think a little of both is good. Tell the bride and groom how much she means to you, but tell funny stories, etc. the crowd. Easy enough, and now you do not have to choose

Bride and Groom speaks … Help, please?

We're getting married on Saturday. Our rehearsal dinner is Friday and I can not for the life of me an idea of what ie as a speech at the rehearsal dinner. The question is more of this than what I say to my boyfriend.
